MARKET NEWS: REPLACEMENT RESET BUTTON SUPPORT ADAPTABLE TO MERCEDES A AND B CLASS

Minitools engineers have carefully examined problems with the malfunctioning of the reset button on Mercedes Class A and B cars dashboards, noticing that they are caused by breakage of the plastic part into which the button is inserted. This consists of a round central part and two side tabs. Total or partial breakage of this plastic part always requires replacement of the entire Mercedes dashboard because no appropriate part is available on the market. This led our team of designers to produce part SEP-P001, i.e. the plastic mount into which the reset button is fitted. The reset button zeros the trip counter and service signal, displays tyre pressure information, regulates the display lighting and much more.
SEP-P001 is brand new to the dashboard part sector. This great idea from Minitools means that it will be even easier and more economical to repair the dashboard reset button for Mercedes Class A and B cars because now only one-part needs replacing instead of the whole dashboard.

Plastic support SEP-P001 used to repair the dashboard reset button, can be fitted to the following cars:

  • Mercedes A-Class W169 and C169 (2004 to 2012 models);
  • Mercedes B-Class W245 (2005 to 2011 models).

Some Mercedes instrument cluster codes: A1695401847; A1694400211; 0263643042; A1694403111; 0263643228; 0263643345; A1694400311; A1695400448.
